Ghent is a proud city with a wide range of sights. The medieval city is overflowing with historical buildings that look their best. History clings to the walls and cobblestones. The cozy center is bursting with a varied range of bars and restaurants.

Think beyond the Korenmarkt and walk towards the small streets of the Patershol and the Oud Begijnhof. Or mingle with the students and walk towards the historic Vooruit building.

Ghent also has a lot of interesting museums that are all close to each other. Classical or modern, local history or design, it can all be found there. The permanent collections are supplemented everywhere with temporary exhibitions.
