Antwerp



For many tourists, a visit to Antwerp is limited to the old city centre. However, Antwerp has so much more to offer than just the cathedral, the Grote Markt and the Steen. The old city centre has its charm and sights, but there is also much to discover elsewhere. For example, since the opening of the MAS, the Eilandje is one of the places you absolutely have to visit.

Or take a walk to Linkeroever from the old city centre. The pedestrian tunnel alone is an experience in itself. Follow the path along the Scheldt and walk towards the beach of Sint-Anna. Afterwards you will end up in the green of the Sint-Annabos and the Middenvijver. A beautiful piece of nature that is not at all touristy.

The numerous museums and monuments that you can find in Antwerp tell the story of the city.

A car is unnecessary in Antwerp. Take the train from Sint-Niklaas and explore Antwerp on foot or by bike.
